Shareware

The shareware versions of QCopy are fully functional and contain all the program features found in the registered versions. A timer loop, which appears between copies, has been added to the shareware versions to encourage registration.

SHAREWARE:

Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before buying it. QCopy for Windows v2.1 or QCopy v5.1 is NOT FREE. It is neither public domain nor freeware. QCOPY for WINDOWS v2.1 is distributed as part of the "shareware" concept. You may freely copy these shareware program version and pass it onto others, provided that the contents, as detailed in the packing list, remains unaltered and complete. No portion or part of these programs may be altered or amended in any way. In particular, no one may patch or modify the files, or any other text or executable files in any way or form, including but not limited to decompiling, disassembling, or any other form of reverse engineering.

REGISTRATION:

Non-licensed users of these programs are granted a limited license to use the program for a specific period of time for evaluation purposes only. You MUST register the program if you continue to use it after a 30 day evaluation period. Unlicensed versions of the program are fully functional. Registration reminder screens may appear both at the beginning and end of the program, or a countdown delay timer. These items are removed in the registered version.

Registration grants the user the right to use QCOPY for WINDOWSv2.1 or QCOPY v5.1 for DOS on one or more computer systems provided the number of persons using these software does not exceed the registered quantity purchased. Holders of registered copies of these programs will receive:

* A new disk containing this program.

* The new program will not contain the timer loop.

* Technical support.

* Discounts on future upgrades

The copying and distribution of registered versions of QCOPY for WINDOWS v2.1 or QCOPY v5.1, other than for personal backup reasons, is strictly prohibited.
